| Is this commonly done? The only "Mommy & Me" classes affiliated with a particular preschool we are interested in are on weekdays. |
| Done all the time. I'm not the only nanny at "mommy and me". |
|
Yes. Even in my tiny blue-collar town there are nannies at "mommy and me" classes. I can only imagine there are many more in a major metro area.
|
| It is very common, OP. In our class there are more nannies than "mommies". |
| Can even be Grandma. |
| In DC, most of the weekday classes leaned heavily toward nannies. Here in the small town in Georgia we moved to, there are more mommies (or grandmas) than nannies, but our nanny is not the only one. |
This! And I'm a mommy who was friends with all of the nannies and au pairs in our music class
|
| Definitely - our's was more mommy heavy than nanny heavy - but there was zero issue with my nanny taking my daughter |
|
Absolutely.
The only time I'd be weary would be if it was a privately organized parent event. Otherwise, it's usually open to any caregiver. |
