I know there is nothing I can or even should do about this. MB is insecure and so wants to please her parents. It isn't just me either as she gives no credit whatsoever to her own husband for anything my charge has learned.

Really sucks for you, my old NF before I moved here was always praising me for things their child showed them he knew. They knew how much I was teaching him and they always made me feel appreciated.
