For those providing health insurance, how are you handling this? Or do you leave it to your nanny to ensure he/she is covered? Is anyone providing health insurance through SHOP (healthcare exchange)? How much to you contribute to the premiums? Any insight is much appreciated.

No do not.
But as we get to more annual raises we may opt to do car payments or health insurance instead. We give nanny the same raise as we get, each March we know if it's 3-7% more.

I'm doing SHOP and paying 100% of the premium (about $300 for our nanny).

Yes. We'll get some back on taxes (35-50%) b/c it's SHOP.

Yes, but I think you can only get the tax credits for two years. After that, we'll probably use the individual exchange if the insurance is cheaper, since it looks like the IRS approved reimbursing a single employee for health insurance again.
