My wife and I are urgently seeking a nanny to care for our 14-month-old son for at least two weeks (maybe longer) beginning Feb. 16 while our nanny is away on a family emergency. If anyone has any recommendations please contact:

OP use an agency. I use MetroParentRelief (with much success) for exactly this purpose.

And don't panic - two weeks is plenty of time to line someone up, including to interview candidates first if you want to.
