| I interviewed with a couple that I just didnt click with. They were so unprofessional. A few things wrong - dad scratched his junk a few times, both parents joked and don't take any aspect seriously, she is a tax attorney but wanted to pay under the able. Most baffling is they have an infant and didnt take anything seriously. They extended an offer yesterday and I declined by saying I accepted an offer I felt was a better fit for me. The dad emailed asking if there was anything they can do to for me to accept their offer instead because they " really like me". I politely declined. They again followed up with another email offering more money this afternoon. I am at a loss of what to do. Most parents accept and wish me luck. Help me on what to do. |

Told you nannies weren't rocket surgeons. |
What is a rocket surgeon, Dear? |
|
Email again and say that you are very flattered and liked them as well but this job is just a better fit. Wish them all the best.
Rinse and repeat as often as necessary. |
lol |
I know - I love it when posters try to insult you but make glaring mistakes while trying to be glib!!! Makes my day!!! |
Don't attempt an insult until you've mastered the English language. |
It's "rocket scientist" or "brain surgeon", you idiot!!! |
Gotta give the nannies something to distract them. |
| I'd just stop replying. |
Please don't reproduce. The world has enough mouth breathers. |
Don't lie and say you liked them that may encourage them. You can say I'm flattered by your interest, but I have accepted an offer. I wish you the best in your search for a nanny." Then stop replying. |
| I think I interviewed with this same family |
Probably not, I'm not in DC |

Don't just ignore it but be gracious. Take the high road.
Thank you so much but I have accepted another position. Best of luck in your nanny search. |
