| I am an occasional sitter for a friend's mb. They called me in at 6 this morning and didn't tell me that one of the kids is sick. I'm talking fever, screaming, coughing, the whole 9 yards |
| They need to pay you double. |
| To make it worse. She was supposed to be here at 6:30. That's an hr ago. Im on dcum so that Im not this mad when she gets home . |
Bless you. I really hope they give you the biggest tip ever. You earned it! Hope they can afford it. |
| I just called the mother. She didn't answer the phone. I'm mainly annoyed because they are paying my flat rate that I have then when I was working everyday for a week for them. Therefore they are paying $70 for a 6 hr day (which has now become a 12 hr day) for 2 kids. |
| They need to pay you much more than that for today. Or you don't go back. |
| Are u in the DC area? |
| Not planning on coming back. Yes I'm in dc |
| Can they afford to do better? |
|
You know once you found out, you could have gracefully told her you do not want to be exposed to any germs for whatever particular reason than left.
And you would have been within your right to cancel. What a dumb woman. She has no common sense. Looks like she was trying to pull the wool over your eyes. What a hustle. |
| Call the police and tell them the MB was supposed to be home 6 hrs ago and doesn't answer her phone and that you have to leave. They can contact CPS for emergency care for these children. |
| Curious what time they showed up and what they paid OP per hour......? |
| OMG I've never seen a nanny complain so much. If our nanny complained like this everytime I was late I would fire her in an instant. |
I have a feeling your sitters leave long before you have a chance to fire them. |
OMG I've never seen anyone with such poor reading comprehension. Go away troll. |
