How far into 2015 should I wait to start my job search?

Long story short my last full time nanny position ended in October 2013.
Things ended on good terms. I wasn't finding positions that were a good fit, so I ended up working at a daycare from November until September 2014. I September I accepted to part time positions one is early morning before school and the other is late evening after daycare. Together these positions are no more than 15 hours a week. I would like to start full time work again in the new year. How far into January should I wait? The other thing is should I use my last family as a reference we don't really keep in touch? |

| The new year is only a week away - I would start now! And yes - re-establish contact w/ your last family so you can use them as a reference and they are prepared to be called. |
