I'm getting a new tattoo in a few weeks. My mb knows about my other tattoos, all that I cover (on back, hips, etc).-

My next will be coverable but on my upper back.
Should I give an fyi or just not say anything.

Mb has a few tatts too

I'm assuming it is nothing vulgar and if it is that you'll have it covered during work hours so I don't see the reason to say anything for work purposes.

Unless you're tattooing 'fuck' on your back, none of their concern - and even in that case it isn't. It's your body and your business, you don't owe anyone any explanations.

If it could be offensive to someone or controversial, then I would mention it, but if not, then I wouldn't say anything.

Plus, if she has some tattoos herself, she probably wouldn't blink an eye anyway.

But what does it matter if it is offensive? Is the OP going to change her mind about the tattoo if her MB says she doesn't like it?
