This one's for the nannies: what foods do you bring/ask for at your employer's house?
Mine are: mozzarella cheese sticks, favorite brand of hummus (asmar's Original), and favorite brand of crackers (Mary's Gone Crackers). I work with 3 under 3 and often don't get a chance to eat between 7:30 and 1, so these things are grab-and-go stuff that keeps me from starving to death. I also bring a salad each day and keep a bottle of my favorite dressing at work. |

I bring cheese sticks
Pretzel sticks Dried fruits like cranberries and raisins Berries Granola\ fruit bars Carrot sticks Pepperoni slices Wheat crackers Grape tomatoes Rice cakes Greek yogurt Almonds Seaweed I have been known to graze on my nanny family's animal and fish crackers, fruit snacks, and baby cookies |
| I bring trail mix, cheese sticks, veggie sticks, and yogurt. My MB keeps a ton of fruit around which I eat as well. I try not to graze all day, and eat at our allowed meal times, because I want to encourage good habits in the kids. |
| I bring a variety of veg, sometimes yogurt, occasionally cheese and crackers of some kind. Usually veg. I'm already overwrought, I don't need to pack in more calories with snacks, but I do get hungry. |
