| Today is a school holiday. Got to work cleaned the kitchen of all their dishes and junk from the weekend. Go upstairs to start laundry, come down, the kids had made experiments with frosting all over the counter. Cleaned it up again and went downstairs. Kids made lunch left everything out. Cleaned it up again and had a cry in the pantry. So sick of cleaning up after 13, 15 and 16 year old who have no chores or responsibilities. Mb just sat in the kitchen and watched it happen. Then added her lunch dishes to the pile. I didn't think being a nanny meant being a house servant. Then got yelled out because mb misplaced her contacts over the weekend and why didn't I know where they were. Vent. Hate this job. |

What do you mean what teen does experiments with frosting?! Do you know no teens who bake? Or teens who like doing stuff out of '101 Kitchen Experiments' and the myriad other books of the same theme? Not every single teen on the planer is on their iPhone, I don't think.
To OP, this sounds like a job you're no longer liking and it seems like your MB doesn't respect you. I would start looking for a new position. |
