I love reading these - share yours! Don't forget to include how old your charges are!
I have one charge, 7 months old. I work Monday-Friday, 7am-7pm. I live-in. 8:00-8:30: Little Man (LM) wakes up. Wake up time-8:50: Monday/Wednesday/Friday are bath days. Otherwise, it's diaper change, dressed for the day, and floor playtime. 8:50: We head downstairs. LM plays in his Jumperoo while I heat his bottle (and make myself an espresso). 9:00: LM drinks his bottle 9:25-9:35: Story time 9:35: We had upstairs for a diaper change, and I put LM down for his nap. 9:45-11: Nap time for LM, laundry time for me. 11:00-12:25: Free time! This is when we run errands, visit the library, take walks, or just hang out at home and play. 12:25: LM hangs out in his Jumperoo again while I heat his bottle. If the dishwasher is done, this is usually when I unload it. 12:35: Another bottle. 1:00-1:30: play time - usually includes tummy/floor time, the exersaucer, and some books. 1:30: Time to explore some "real" food. We're doing BLW (baby led weaning). 2:00: cleanup & head upstairs for a diaper change and to be put down for another nap. 2:15-3:30/4: Nap time 4-4:50: Free time! We usually go for a walk and check the mail, play, or might run a quick errand. 4:50: You guessed it, I'm heating another bottle. 5:00: LM drinks his bottle 5:25-5:35: Story time again (can you tell I'm big on reading to the little guy?) 5:35: LM hangs out in his Mama & Papas seat with some toys while I wash bottles & dishes, then wipe down the counters. 5:45: Upstairs for a diaper change, and LM is put down for his final nap of the day (which sometimes happens, sometimes doesn't!) 6:00- : If LM naps, it lasts anywhere from 30-60 minutes. If he wakes before his parents arrive home, we just hang out and play. TIA for sharing your day

My days are shorter than yours right now since I am taking classes in the afternoon! Here is what a typical day looks like for my 20 month old charge and myself:
8:00-I arrive. LO is dressed and ready to go, and he starts eating breakfast around this time 8:30-We clean up after breakfast. We do free play where he basically runs around the house and plays with whatever he wants. We may paint or color during this time as well. 10:00-LO has some yogurt for a snack and then I change his diaper before our walk 10:30-We head out for our walk. Sometimes we will go to the park, but it is usually pretty empty during this time of the day. Most of the time I just let him walk near me on the sidewalk. He loves to watch all of the construction going on in our town. 12:15-We arrive back home and get washed up and ready to eat lunch 12:45- LO usually plays for a little bit, but at this point he does start to get cranky. 1:00-We go upstairs, change his diaper and then read a story before he goes down for a nap. He usually sleeps until 3 PM at least, but I am done for the day at 2:30 |

| I am not a nanny, thank God. After reading what your day entails, you ought to be charging $100/hr.Dr |

This is 10:30. Usually the 6 month old won't nap until she falls asleep in the stroller on the way home from the park--she's not a good napper in general, and will only nap being held most of the time. |
| OP, you sound like a great nanny. |
