You should have been fired in person rather than over the phone. However, notice and severance are for when there’s no fault. You couldn’t see there were things on the floor and clean them up before allowing a child to eat them? Do you understand that it might have resulted in a perforated intestine rather than a mild case of constipation? And you readily admit that you put a child in a high chair, didn’t buckle them in, then ran off to the bathroom! These are basic safety concerns! You were fired for cause. |
I also suspect from the tone of PPs post that an in person firing would not have ended well. I don't blame the employers for doing it over text. Most people are reasonable and don't just let a nanny in a share go over a few things...there's more to this story. |
Thank you so much hopefully something will definitely come Up |
I will say never in my entire year of being a Nanny in my 10 years of experience have I ever been fired or something happens to the child alk the families I've worked with have nothing to say but nice things about me while working with them not even an incident this one was a first ..never ever have I ever been fired as A Nanny before ..but it ok I know deep down I did my job and admit to my faults once I'm wrong but in these case of the other child I was blamed for him earing or picking up something that the other family two kids didn't clean up after..they know it because of the compliments I've gotten from them for the 5 months I worked with them..God is great and he sees everything . |

Well, now you have been fired for cause so you should learn from this experience and move on. Good luck with your search. |
Whoever this person is, I hope your nanny quits on you during a Zoom call. |
