So your kids don’t call their doctor Dr. Whatever or their coach Coach whatever? In DD’s preschool they call the teachers Teacher Whatever in either English or Hebrew.

Our nanny asked to be called Nanny and I do love it. To her it is like Mommy, Daddy, Grandma, etc. Very sweet and very respectful.

I agree. As a nurse, I am generally called Nurse First Name. My grandfather was called Maestro by his orchestra. Same with Professor. Nanny First Name is lovely.
