Teething tablets and orajel is no longer recommended to use for teething. Try cold chew toys. |
I’m PP and my MB and I would hve to BEGGGG her to go out! She wouldn’t want to get dressed or even out her shoes on. I’m surprised she was never late to her preschool though lol. We had to start getting her ready as soon as si got there. I hate to sound dramatic but she was the worst child I’ve ever had |
Get a backbone, set a schedule and make both legos and racetracks part of every day, as well as outside time. “This is our new schedule. We will have breakfast, then you may play with legos until the timer goes off. When the timer goes off, we will walk to the park and you can play there until the timer goes off. When you get back from the park, we will have lunch, then you will nap. When you get up, you may play with racetracks until dinner.” |

Oh, wow, I didn’t know that! Sorry to whoever I suggested that to. It’s been a while since I’ve had to deal with teething. |
Omg that’s insane! Mine at least enjoyed his preschool. That’s what his mother said anyways, I wasn’t there for drop off. Is yours also very particular about getting dirty? I know I’ve had kids that didn’t really like to get messy with finger paints and the like, but my current charge won’t even wear his water-proof shoes because they’re open and he doesn’t want to get dirt on his feet. He’s also saying he doesn’t want to get wet or play in the water at all. It’s been so hot, I’m dying! Lol He’s definitely a tough cookie.

So take him to the pool versus just a spray park or wading pool. Many kids can deal with full body water, but not partial dampness. For getting dirty, you can try modeling making a mess on the floor “accidentally” and cleaning my it up. Then, move up to preparing ways to keep the floor from getting dirty (towels, shower curtain, etc.). Then talk about ways to keep kid from getting dirty while still playing (apron, plastic gloves, closed toe shoes, etc.). |
Thanks for the tips! I don’t know how comfortable my nanny family will be with me taking him to the pool (they’re worriers), but I’ll definitely ask. |
