OP here. I am in Los Angeles (westside). I think you should start your own agency, PP. There are more and more employers like me.

Another Los Angeles parent here and there is an agency called Educated Nannies but the "education" required is only two years of college. I think a former teacher agency would do great in pretty much any metropolitan area.
