Have to agree on this one, Nanny agencies are a business, plain and simple it is about making money and nannies are the product they sale. I am sure their are some good agencies but at the end of the day it is about sales not matter how much they say they are there for their nannies. INA is helping the agencies further prosper, the president of INA is an agency owner.

INA is the International Nanny Agencies. They also have APNA, but nannies not allowed. So interesting!!

INA is the International Nanny ASSOCIATION.

You do realize that the current president of INA is NOT an agency, but an Newborn Care Specialist and the incoming president is a former nanny, former nanny of the year and has her own company that provides training and coaching to nannies.

For those that say agencies have taken over the INA board - do your homework.

The INA board has created the INA NANNY Basic Skills Assessment and the INA NANNY Credential Exam.

They offer a mentoring program FOR NANNIES.

They are the only organization to have a NANNY OF THE YEAR. They don't offer an agency of the year.

Geesh - before you go slamming an organization that has been around for 31 years, again, do your homework.

Above post do your homework, the president of INA owns Gibson NCS agency so try again. I think what nannies want to know why do agencies have any say of INA? Yes INA has been around for a long time and once upon a time was a great source for nannies then it got greedy. The crazy tests created is a way to make money.

Most parents don't know the difference between a nanny, night nanny and NCS. There was a parent advertising for a night nanny a while ago... for a 2 year old. They actually wanted a nanny who would work overnights. There was a parent advertising for an NCS... they really wanted a night nanny for a 4 month old. One is a variation of the other, so yes, they are all part of the INA.
