Nannies breaking/damaging items in your home

This thread was posted 7 years ago. Just curious about the opinions. For the mom saying she ruined one of her clothes. That's why I never compromise to do parents laundry. 1. Bcs it's not part of a nanny job; as I'm not a Housekeeper even I family would paying more. For me just a a simple No. And honestly I'm very bad doing my own laundry. And about the broker glass of wine; I would not mind to replace a full new set, no problem at all, but I would be surprised how cheap are the employers. Lots of drama for a glass wine, knowing this was accidentally trying to help the family to keep their kitchen tidy, helping tu unload the dishwasher. In all my years of experience as a nanny, I always have worked with employers only.

Simple dork when your nanny unload your dishes or do your laundry. She’s not your slave. She’s meant to take care of your kids.

Why is it the nanny's job to unload the dishwasher? This is what a maid or housekeeper does.
