I wouldn't even bring it up Monday. Little kids get bruises all the time. My preschooler almost always has a bandaid somewhere on her body these days.

So glad I work for a MB who actually cares about me, instead of just viewing me as an employer as you clearly do for your nanny. They are not just your kids. The nanny has a bit of claim on them too.

Wrong. They ARE exactly my kids. The nanny may feel an emotional claim to them, but legally, she has absolutely none. I can fire her and she can't sue me for visitation of the kids.

Okay, no one was claiming that obviously. But an emotional claim warrants one text asking how a sick child is doing on the weekend especially if I helped take care of the child during the week.

I would not mind at all but may not be able to answer right away. In OP's case, MB could be comforting the child or cleaning up vomit/diarrhea.
