While I can see myself feeding a child Cheerios w/out thinking twice, if a parent brought it up to me, I wouldn't lie about it. I would just admit it and say I wouldn't do it again.

The fact that she is lying makes her a dishonest nanny.

And a dishonest nanny is never a good thing.

Fire her.

Imagine what else she is hiding.

I sometimes sneak some goldfish crackers to the toddler I babysit. I never thought about allergies and such, but it's a good idea to ask his mother I suppose.

Cheerios, goldfish crackers and juice are junk "foods". Parents and caregivers who care about the child's health, will not offer junk to eat.
