Or there is a wolf pack mentality. Also I would hardly say some on there are "professional." Just because someone believes in a different discipline technique then you doesn't make them wrong. There are a bunch of mean girls on there and I know you are one of them.

Actually, I don't belong to the group. I just know better than to believe that everyone in it but you is mean and unprofessional.

I didn't say everyone. There are almost 500 members but yes the more vocal ones are like jackals on the posts they don't agree on.

I can't remember if I was blocked from it, or if I ended up leaving, but if found the group a breeding grown for nativity and only a place to botch about parents. Y'know, the people who are the sole reason we, nannies, have jobs? It want positive or constructive at all. It said it was a place for positivity but it wasn't.

By chance were you the awful mother, as a nanny, who said she wanted to give her 12 month laxatives and juice cleanse? If so, mother of the year.

Do you realize how negative you sound even after calling another group "negative". You have fully contradicted yourself, good job!

I couldn't even understand her post.. After "Y'know", I was done reading.

The group Nannything goes is very negative about parents and the nanny profession. As a nanny I didn't enjoy the group. Obviously I had a few typos in my last post, which you are rigt to point out.

I felt the group was only a "bitch & stitch" session about how horrible parents, versus a place to rant or rave about the profession. More ranting, little raving!

Also, how is saying I disagree with a group I'm no longer a part of because they are negative a contradiction? If I was still a part of it while saying it was complietely negative, then that's a contradiction.

As snarky as you sound, I am so glad you're not my child's nanny.

PP wasn't snarky at all (I do not think that word means what you think it means) and you're not an MB.

Never been there. All I know is there is a lot of bitching going on at Nanny Care Tribe. The Warlord Lori carried on as if she is the queen bee (I am so glad she is not my nanny!) and a bunch of high school nannies who have nothing else to do but attack people and bitch about their jobs. Most of the posters sound as if they hate their job and are only looking for sympathy. A girl named Kim P is the worst. She bitches about her employees all the time and is the biggest brown noser ever. If you are looking for a positive and safe environment do NOT go to that group. Lori also allows information from posers to be used by another poster in a book she is writing. She is allowing a nanny to steal other nannies stories.

And they complain that they are not making 25.00 or more an hour (They think they should because they are "professionals.") And GOD FORBID they are asked to do actual work other then watching the kids play.

I don't know how educated this person is in the tribe. First, the moderators name is Lora. Second, posts were stolen from the group and used as advice in someone's book. I don't know how Lora "allowed" that, since you can't really stop someones actions. As far as I know, she just found out about it, and made a post making it very clear for others that actions like that are not allowed.

And yes, I am in the Tribe. However, I'm not one of the kiss ups and do find myself in the minority sometimes. I have my own frustrations with them but some of the members have some good advice.
