If you want someone there at 6am be prepared to pay more.

Why do you nannies demand higher pay for having to get up at 6AM or having part time hours? Many people have to get up early and many seek part time work. Stop making your own rules. I definitely would pay extra because nanny needs to get to work early. If your not an early bird then look for 2nd or 3rd shift jobs. Lazy and entitled.

Look, if you can find what you want at minimum wage, go for it. Problem is that so many employers of bargan nannies keep whining about their poor luck. Ok. Better luck next time, huh? If you want better, you pay better. Haven't you heard?

What does that have to do with my response? You think someone should be paid more because they have to get up early and head to work? FYI, the nanny APPLIED and/or ACCEPTED that early morning job.
Btw, many nannies are overpaid, lazy and entitled and there's a reason nobody takes the profession seriously. If you want higher pay then show the education, experience, references, certifications, etc, that warrant the high rate.

If you have something helpful to say, like, you know, an answer to the question, then share it. Otherwise, zip it. Troublemaking is annoying and is ruining this forum.

Stop giving yourself a 1+ and 2+.. You posted both responses moments apart so you ain't fooling anyone by agreeing with yourself. Looney tune.

Highly paid nannies are taken *very* seriously. No smart person likes to make a stupid investment, especially a sizable one.

No one knows how many devices you may be posting from, lol.

And you're still wrong, lol PP.

I have no problem owning my posts. I'm 16:48 and the person who told you that you're wrong, as usual, and you can check with Jeff. I doubt you own up to your posts. Trolls and troublemakers like you never do.

I get it. It busts you up that there are people who agree with me that troublemakers like you are ruining this forum.

Too bad. Me and the people who agree with me will continue to call you out and run you off the board. So, deal with it. Lol.

I agree. 16:48 needs to take a break from this board and go work on her anger issues.

She said 7:30am.

Oh you're right, sorry, I blew right past that.

I agree with others the "ad" doesn't say much about what OP is looking for in a caregiver. Nanny? Sitter? Mother's helper? Retired? College student? Professional? These will all affect the anticipated pay of your candidates, OP, but you've heard a healthy range in $12 (mother's helper type, inexperienced, maybe just finished HS and going off to college in the fall) to $16 (an at least somewhat experienced nanny) per hour.

If you read between the lines, the ad says "cheap", IMO. Prove me wrong, OP. What is this job worth to you, OP?

I am another person who AGREES with 16:48.

The bolded should read...I'm the person who called out 16:48. I think it was around 17:00.
