My last day

Tomorrow is my last day with my little peanut who is going off to preschool. We were in a nanny share and my other ladybug went off to preschool as well. I have taken care of them since they were 4 months now they are two years old, time is flying! Mom and I were in tears the last day with my other one. I am not looking forward towards tomorrow ending. Both girls think that I will be going to school with them, they have no idea. I thought at least I had one more year with them, we didn't even get to go on outings in the car. It's so hard, it doesn't get easier with each nannying position.

Sorry OP that is a tough one. It's always hard to leave these kids, it doesn't take long to get attached. Especially when they are so young! Maybe you can still babysit for the girls once in a while to keep in touch? Might be nice for everyone! Good luck to you.

I don't understand why parents are all in such a rush to send their kids to preschool. 2 years old? Sorry, that's not school, that's day care. Anyway, I don't get what the rush is. I didn't go to any type of preschool and managed just fine in school, and I was among the youngest in my class too. Pre-k at 4 I can kind of understand. Anyway, that's off topic. Hope the last day goes well and you're able to do some really fun things and make it a memorable send off!

Parents are in a rush because it's cheaper (this is a share, so cost is clearly a consideration), and because it's less complicated than being employers.

O.P I am a teacher and I use to teach a class of two year olds.my job is to get them ready for preschool and they are both ready because I have taught them everything from knowing all of their colors, upper and lower case alphabets, shapes, their names etc. They ate both going to a private preschool and their tuition looks like they are attending college. I have had two other kids attend this same preschool so I know their prices.

Thanks, I probably won't baby sit bit we ate going to have play dates together.

Oops I see a couple of typos sorry I am typing from my iPod. Both girls will be attending a private preschool, where they will have religious curriculum activities as well.
