I answered a post for taking care of a little one. I received an email stating my experience seemed like I would be a good fit, I was instructed
to answer an online nanny form that you have to answer with several questions. Then at the end it will tell you you are 100% finished and click the send button, it then tells you if you are a perfect fit they will contact you for an interview. This is my first time seeing this anyone else experienced this online form? The questions were pretty good. |
| Do not do this. |
| I've never seen anything like this |
Me neither. Sounds like busy parents trying to weed out/in those people with a similar parenting/caregiving approach to their own before conducting interviews? Smart and efficient. I don't think I'd have any problem with it. |
| As long as it didn't ask for personal info like your SSN, I'd probably be okay with it |
| High-maintenance. |

Actually, it's a pretty smart idea. Looks like employer created a survey monkey type survey to weed out candidates very different than what they were looking for so as not to waste any time in fruitless interviews.
As a PP said, as long as they don't ask for SSN, it sounds fine. |
No they didn't ask for any personal information. |
| They might still send one asking please don't give anything out unt your hired |
PP you quoted. That's good they didn't ask! When I was interviewing a few years ago, at least one family asked for my SSN in their first email -- they sent me a long list/form of questions. Ha! I went digging and actually still have the email. I emailed them after seeing their ad, and they replied with a message describing the job as well as an application. The application asked for, among other things: SSN, license #, Full name, street address, references...it was LOTS of personal information very soon. Didn't take that job! |

O.P here no the online form asked detailed questions pertaining to babies, why I thought I was a great nanny in Fifty words or less.
After answering all of the questions I found out through email that I had been hired by another family. Lol |
