Interview at a Park? RSS feed

Anonymous
I received a message on care.com from a parent who is looking for a sitter on Friday. It works out for me because I am off this entire week due to my nanny family going on vacation. The care.com parent and I corresponded back a few times and finally she asked me if I could interview before Friday and asked me to meet her at a park at 10am. I find this rather odd and I would be more comfortable with meeting in a much more public place (like a coffee shop). The town is pretty small and I am not sure if too many people would be around at 10am.

Is it okay to respond and say that I would rather meet at a more public place?

Just suggest a nearby coffee shop to get out of the hot weather.

A coffee shop is actually private property. Most parks are public.

+1 There must be a coffee shop a stone's throw from the park in one direction or another. Suggest that.
