Too many toys!

I'm working this summer for a family I used to nanny for full-time. When I nannied for them full-time I would regularly go through toys, wedding out those that were no longer age-appropriate and organizing what was left. Well today MB asked me to go through the kids playroom... I'm pretty sure no one has gone through the toys since I left 3 years ago and I'm currently irritated and overwhelmed by the sheer amount of crap that they've bought their kids in the past few years (they're the type of parents who would rather buy their kids toys than spend time with then). I'm only working for them this summer because their usual nanny had a family emergency and I'm feeling like I just got dumped on.

Just do what you can and don't worry about it. I'm sure your MB doesn't expect you to undo three years of toy acquisition in a day or a week. If you're there all summer do a little bit every day and you'll be leaving them in great shape for the fall.

Just imagine all the slave labor that went into manufacturing that landfill pile of crap. It's disgusting.
