My employers have been looking at getting a puppy for a while now. We've had a few discussions about it, they've hired a trainer, and I agreed to add on a few puppy relayed duties. I didn't ask for any type of raise because I love animals and don't see this as a big deal. I got my paycheck this morning and they added a "puppy bonus"! I just thought it was really great that they acknowledged how the puppy will be more work for me, especially for the next few weeks until it gets settled in

| You are working for good employers. I have raised both children and puppies and puppies are harder in the first weeks by far! I never had an newborn who could chew up expensive shoes in three minutes! Babies pee and poop in diapers while puppies stain rugs and furniture which takes a lot more time to clean up. |

You have very smart and caring employers who know their stuff!
Caring for an extra pet is more work and many families do not take this into consideration. Kudos to your family for acknowledging this fact!!
