Nannies who want to be Professional Nannies
need to stand up for themselves as Nannies, as stated on another recent thread. 1. Healthy Boundaries, includes Mutual Respect 2. Comprehensive Signed Contract, detailing Nanny and Employer Responsibilities and Compensation Package, plus desired Duration of Employment and detailed Process of Termination, while acknowledging the ultimate "at will" status of Employer and Nanny 3. Regular Discussions and Written Reviews 4. Trial Period for Nanny and Employers to evaluate long term potential 5. Continuing (informal) Education for both Nanny and Employers |
