because I loved seeing all the psycho craigslist posts from parents looking for nannies. Just found this one (I don't live anywhere near DC, FWIW) and thought it was worth sharing. Would any of you work for this woman?

This is my last post before I get a foreign temporary worker. I would rather hire someone locally, but if no one wants the job then what other choice do I have?

Single working parent with full-time professional career needs a caregiver for two children.

Description:

Two easy to get along with children
A maximum of 39 hours a week, with the 40th hour spread into the week (no overtime)
All you need to do is spend time with them and make sure that they are healthy and safe
No cleaning or cooking involved (I already have a cook and a cleaner)
Your break is as long as they take a nap for (2-3 hrs)

Solid schedule as follows:

Live-in

Monday 1pm~8pm (7)
Tuesday 8am~3pm (7)
Wednesday ------
Thursday 1pm~8pm (7)
Friday 10am-6pm (8)
Saturday 8am-6pm (10)
Sunday -----

Live out:

Monday 1pm~5pm (4)
Tuesday 8am~12pm (4)
Wednesday ------
Thursday 1pm~5pm (4)
Friday 8am-12pm (4)
Saturday 8am-4pm (8)
Sunday -----

Live-in Conditions:

Private and fully furnished room with computer and lock on door
FREE All meals professionally cooked for you (choose from menu daily)
FREE Wi-Fi, electricity, water, laundry (say goodbye to bills)
FREE use of brand-new 2014 model year family sports luxury car (must be reasonable in use)

You can live out, but if you are late even once for any reason we'll have to call it a day. I cannot be late for work under any circumstances. This is the main reason I need a live-in. Too many "Oh, traffic was bad" or "my car wouldn't start" have cost me a lot of money.

Um no. Mostly because of her bad attitude but also those hours are bizarre. Who wants to work ten hours every Saturday? I love reading these crazy posts too.

Oh goodness, thanks for the laugh! Who would want to live with this lady? Maybe she is an ER doc and really can't miss work but surely that is not a reason to be so rude to someone you hope will cohabitate with you!

I'm super curious as to why the hours are so different for Live In vs Live Out. What possible reasoning could she have there?

I agree with you...I sure miss reading those crazy Craigslist posts on "I Saw Your Nanny."

I think the section was called, "CL..WTF?!" or something like that. Lol.

By the way, do you or does anyone on here know why that website shut down for good? Because it was just getting improved, then BOOM (!) it shut down for good.

This post sounds like this woman is quite jaded when it comes to nannies.

I wouldn't want to work for her because she already has a HUGE chip on her shoulder.
