I'm looking into hiring a nanny and want to give her my pair of Glass so she can life document every interaction that goes on with my DC. With obvious exceptions to continuous streaming such as bathroom breaks, etc., what are your opinions on this? It would help me to quality control her work. I think this is on the horizon much like nanny cams were when they came out.
Opinions? |
| Good luck finding a nanny to agree to that. |
|
Why don't you get an old fashioned nanny cam and occasionally work from home? All the info you need with none of the weirdness.
I guess I would wear them at my charges' home, if asked, but am not at all comfortable wearing them in public. Total invasion of others' privacy. But I think this post was actually just meant to stir up trouble

| I what way do you plan to "quality control" her work? If yoh seriousy plan to watch footage of her every interaction with your child and provide feedback and correction, then you would be much better off quitting and being at home with your kid yourself, because I see no way for you to do that AND make time for a full time job. |
| While it is a great idea in theory, google glass is garbage and ugly and no nanny would agree to wear it. It is embarrassing as anything, uncomfortable, and leads to confrontations with store employees and others in public places. |
| There is no way I would consent to wearing Google glass. If you want to document every moment of DC's life, then you should stay home. This falls into the way too creepy category. |
| LOL troll |
This. Stay the fuck at home. |
| I think this is a prank post. I would never ever agree to this. It would weird me out. |
| Call me old school, but I don't even know what Google Glass even is. |
|
OMG, please be a troll.
Dear god. |
