Website like DCUM in LA area?

Hopefully one of you knows a good website to find nanny position, I have had good families through DCUM and I was wondering if there's anything like it in California. I'm relocating after summer and I have couple friends also nannies also going and we don't really want to use sites like craigslist to find positions. Thanks! (:

I truly wish there was a site like this one for the LA area. Even in the sharing message boards, our issues and challenges as parents and nannies are often quite different than a parent or nanny in DC.

I found my last three positions on care.com.

There is a bi weekly nanny support group in Beverly Hills that meets on Sunday nights. Email [e-mail] for more information.

Just to name a few.

I would never recommend Rose's agency. They placed my friend in a live in job without giving her some vital information about the kids' backgrounds. Without going into detail, the children had been abused and had long term issues that required very close monitoring and specialized care. Information that should have been shared with any nanny going to interview with the family.

Agree with not recommending Elizabeth Rose. They have placed me with several (awful) families. Go with Westside Nannies!
