success hiring a driving afterschool babysitter?

I am looking for advice on where to look for reliable afterschool babysitters who are able to do pick up at school across town, get my kids back home and oversee homework, shuttling to/from lessons, etc. Does anyone have success stories of hiring for a similar situation? I've posted at local colleges/universities, will ask local nannies to ask around among their friends ... any other ideas?
