My nanny-kiddos are moving and their baby movement class teacher has Been talking about setting up and interview and wanting to hire me for months now, since I told her I would be seeking new employment upon their move

When I finally told her I was starting to set up interviews - she quickly told me she was no longer interested with a bunch of reasons why. That's cool, but don't act like your interested
and then change your mind and make me feel like an ass.

She was making small talk. She never meant it. It's like when people say oh I want to buy that house or car or whatever when they know they can't afford it. Most people say a lot of stuff they don't mean. Take 90% of what people say with a grain of salt.

Maybe your right, I Usually don't take people serious... But it was just so weird... She brought it up to me and continued mentioning it at every class. So bizarre.

On a positive note, you most definitely dodged a bullet here.

She sounds quite flakey and it's better to know sooner rather than later.
