PP here who has worked summer jobs in the past. I'm the same way, and with enough searching I usually found several families with younger children looking for care. The most common scenario was a school aged child with the summer off and a younger child switching caregivers (usually starting pre-school) in the fall, and it made the most sense for families to fill the gap with one summer nanny instead of taking the kids to two different places. It's also really common for families just moving into or about to move out of the area to use a summer nanny for younger children as well. The jobs aren't common, but they are out there, keep at it OP!
