Only working 4x a week doing "housekeeping" tasks. How does that sound? Like job creep is bound to happen?

I mean the parents said that the chores will change and I will be asked to do different tasks as time progresses. As a nanny, I feel a little but like this may not be right for me because I don't see myself as a housecleaner.

When in doubt - if you can - say no. I'm a mom going thru a nanny change and I try my hardest to make sure they know the focus is the kids not my home. If you are bored during naps and want to tidy up, sure - that's great and makes my life easier which in turns mean I am happier come bonus time. But I wouldn't turn the job into housekeeping for a nanny. Good nannies have skills I need for that task.
