Just got home from a draining 3 hour interview. I've never had an interview longer than 1.5 hours. IF THAT!! She did not ask me a single question about myself. Al about her. She took 3 phone calls and decided it was a good time to teach her daughter phonics. I seriously feel so upset and like she took advantage of my time. Awkward thing is she is friends with my mb who wants to start a nanny share.... I don't know what to do...
Politely say, "Thanks, but no thanks". Done.
Say no.
You'd be crazy to put up with that woman. Just say no.
Seriously, say NO to a share with that woman!!! Do you think her self-centered and inconsiderate personality will get better?!

So annoying to have spent that time, but consider it a gift. This is very clearly not a job you want or a woman for whom you want to work. Better a horrible interview that let you walk away before getting involved than discovering too late that your new boss is a nightmare.

That sounds horrible, but at the hour mark, I probably would have figured out a way to excuse myself (I'm so sorry, I have someplace else I need to be.) Hope you don't have to see her again! And come up with a way to politely decline a way a share if she decides to move forward. Good luck in future interviews!
