FTM posted a care.com ad for a Mother's helper. I'm getting very little responses to my ad. Pay is $20/hour. How can I generate more interest in this job?
What did your ad say?
We'd have to read the ad to see.
Post the ad and we can tell you what's wrong with it. My guess is you want too much house work and too little actual child care. Or came across as super picky and a little crazy. Those things tend to be deterrents.
The pay is good, but that's not everything. Your hours could be weird, the tone of your ad could be coming across in a negative way, or you might be asking too much of your potential candidates. Not many adult nannies are interested in mothers helper type positions. Its often code for servant to a demanding SAHM.
I agree with PP's - we can only give good feedback if you actually post the ad
You can offer me 40/hour. I would never work for a sahm.
I would and I have. It was actually one of the better jobs I've ever had. |
