Interviewing for job that doesn't start until July?

So I applied to a great job on Sittercity and the family got back to me and let me know they do not need someone until July! Now they want to have a phone interview and possibly meet, even though I told them I need to be working ASAP. I am unsure of what to do. I don't want to be rude or miss out on a great opportunity by turning down any interviews, but it seems pointless as I can't just sit around until July and wait for them to need me. I am willing to chat with them on the phone, but really don't want to waste time/gas driving to their home to meet them. What would you do?

Don't waste their time. Say your looking for work now and that you can't wait until July.

Say it again and move on. Why waste your time and theirs? They probably think they can convince you to wait.

MB here. Tell them again that you cannot wait for a job until July. If starting employment more immediately is an option you'd be happy to talk with them but otherwise you would be wasting their time.
