| MB has 2 roommates sharing her apartment with her and the 3 kids. One roommate (let's call him Dave), tells me that things MB has been telling me are untrue. For example, when she says that she is not going to pay me today but instead tomorrow, it is because she is just bad at managing money. But MB says it is because she had an emergency come up. Anyway, MB has now told me that she has a medical issue and needs surgery. She has not told the roomates. As far as I'm concerned, I think MB may be lying about needing surgery. The day after she told me this, I came in in that morning, and asked how was she feeling. It was as if she "Forgot" that she was supposed to have this medical condition. WWYD? |
| If she doesn't pay you or if the job makes you feel uncomfortable then quit. |
| The whole situation sounds crazy. It is time to start looking for a new job. |
| Anyone who needs two roommates can't afford a nanny. |
Is that a rule or something? Maybe she can afford a nanny because she's saving on housing. Don't pretend to know a persons finances, someone could be in a big house and also in massive debt. |

This is pretty easy to handle, OP. Stick to what is your own business. Your business is to get paid for your job. Her reasons for not paying you, or her surgery, or anything else is her personal life is not your business.
If she won't pay you on time and you don't want to wait, leave and get a new job. |
