| Yay! What to do with the charges 18mo and 3yo on Monday? Grandma is in the house and maybe dad, that makes my job more hard especially staying home for 10hrs with my charges.. Advice what's good thing to do around NW DC. |
| Use a sick day |
**LAME** Be a professional and show up. |
| What the heck is Grandma doing all day? Knitting? |
Big Yes! Knitting right in the living room/playroom ? |
PP here, I'm not sure where's that question mark ? came from sorry. |
| I hope you're not planing on taking them out. Be creative and entertain them inside the warm house. |

So far it's only about 45. But rainy.
One of my favorite indoor "wear then out" games is Simon says. But I make it really active stuff -- jump in place, jumping jacks, wiggling, stomping in place, etc. To calm down after, we do yoga. They like animal poses best. |
Love this idea! Its also a great day for a "pj party", blanket forts, and baking! |
OP here, it turns out not so bad the weather. Just what we did this morning, we did some hide and seek and yes Going to the Zoo yoga (I'm used to be a yoga kids instructor). Both kids and I we're wore out had a big lunch together and kiddos are now in their bed quite time yay my favorite ) Planning on doing the same thing again tomorrow when they predict the coldest in the decade.. Maybe some arts and crafts when they get out of their bed to finish my 10long hours
FYI I'm sitting in front of grandma right now while she's knitting )

Another idea (if MB/DB is okay with it) is to have a picnic lunch in a room other than the kitchen. Spreading out a big blanket or towels. Something "fun" that is a special treat.
Baths are also an option. Especially if you bring in bubbles. Or if the kids are allowed screen time, I bet lots would have so much fun if you hook up a camera to the TV so they could dance and see themselves on tv. |
Ahaha ilove the camera hook up on the tv and I'm sure my charges would enjoy seeing theirselves in the screen while doing all sorts of silliness!! |
