| I just started with a new family for occasional babysitting and they booked me for a few hours of babysitting. I also booked another one of my familes whom I'm been working for for a long time for the same day. One family wants me to come 4-8 and the other needs me to come around 730 or 8. I did this threw an oversight since my phone was off and the other family usually texts me. What should I do???? |
| I meant how I'm sorry |
| Learn to spell, seriously. |
| You apologize immediately to the second family you booked, stating your error and asking very politely and without pressure if they can adjust their time a bit. If not, you don't take the job and if possible, recommend an excellent friend to take it instead in case they need someone urgently. |
Agree with this, adding that I would consider which family gives me better business. If family number one pays crap, uses me once a year, or they annoy me, while family number 2 is my more regular family, pays well, provides dinner, etc., then I would risk pissing off family number 1 over family 2. |
| Which one pays more? Explain the situation to both sides and try to work it out. |
I could read OP's post clearly. Maybe you should learn to read. Even if there was an error or two, it isn't that hard. Dippy! |

Honor whichever commitment you made first.
Apologize PROFUSELY to the other family and let them know the schedule adjustment you'd need in order to work their job. Do this ASAP so they have time to find someone else if they need to. |
Thank you!!!!!!I was rushing for work and wanted to get this up quickly |
| I was able to solve and still sit for both families....I just asked the second family if I could come at 8:30....they agreed |
