I interviewed for a nanny position recently and the father asked me what my rate is.
I told him my rate and he told me that I was asking for too much. He then proceeded to ask me to list my bills so that he could "figure out what you need to live on." I laughed and told him that I had no interest in working for him. Just a vent. |

lol, silly man.
I bet he doesn't get paid only as little as he needs to live on. In fact, if he put his child in daycare instead of getting a nanny, he could lower his salary.
Keep looking OP. We're out there. |
Thanks OP! I actually found my dream family and am loving my new job! I just thought I'd share my crazy story. |
| Oops...I meant thanks PP! |
| OMG! It takes all kinds. Lol. Do you know what he did for his job? |
He is a bankruptcy attorney. |
That explains it; he got confused and thought you were a client. |
|
| Bahahahaha that is hilarious! Thank you for sharing! |
| I'd ask to see his paychecks so you can determine what he can afford to pay. |
Hahahahahahahaha!!!! Got my first laugh of the day..What a great way to start off the week.
