Be specific, feel free to include links and pics.

I wore dark-wash jeans, a colorful v-neck sweater, and flats.

This short sleeve top and black linen pants. I think I wore sandals or tennis shoes-something like that. I am nannying part-time and a full-time graduate student.

Dark wash jeans, sweater similar to this http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_Cbvkjeyut70/TPws5Vnz4MI/AAAAAAAADK0/IOeGiorvSIo/s400/olive+-+gap+sweater.jpg

and I'm not sure about the shoes. Some sort of slip on sneaker I think. Maybe similar to this? http://www.altrec.com/images/shop/detail/swatches/ECC/785.102915_e.jpg

I do a share. I don't remember what I wore to Kid A's interview, it was a year ago. I just interviewed yesterday for a new share partner and wore a dark pink (like watermelon) knit Lands End dress and turqoise keens in a mary jane style. Got the job. I've had interviews where I went straight from work and had on kid friendly clothes and got the job and others where I dressed nicer and didn't. And vice versa. I think it's more about the fit than what you're wearing though you do want to make a good first impression.

Jeans, black flats, white button down, black and white striped sweater I left open. Hair up in a bun.

Dark-wash denim trousers, black boots, black tank top with a dark red button-up over it. Hair down, little make-up, no perfume.

(And along with loving my job, I make BANK.)

Dark-wash jeans, a coral V-neck blouse with a fitted navy blazer, tan flats and small diamond studs. Hair back with a cute headband.

I live in sunny and warm CA and for my interview I wore casual jean shorts, a T~shirt and a pair of sandals.

And I got the job.

I wore dark wash skinny jeans, a navy blue blouse, and tan flats. Stud earrings, a pearl necklace, and my hair in a neat bun. My employers actually commented on how polished yet comfortable I looked, and it seemed to make me stand out compared to other candidates.

....a pearl necklace seems to be trying a wee bit too hard IMHO...

It went well with the blouse. It was a short simple chain, and I wear it with blouses all the time. To each her own!

I wear pearls with t-shirts and tennis shoes. This topic is dumb.

You guys can turn any topic nasty, smh. Why is it a dumb topic? Because there's nothing to flame about? Pitiful.
