| We have outgrown the need for a nanny and will soon be saying goodbye to our wonderful nanny whom we love. Aside from a monetary bonus, I'm at a loss as to what to give her for a parting gift. Any ideas? |
| Pictures, a scrapbook, letters/artwork from the kids, etc. I treasure the picture mugs, scrapbooks, and artwork I've been given in the past! |
| Send her and your children to a professional photographer, or do a special photo shoot yourself. Give her the photo framed. That was a favorite gift I received. |
|
And of course give her the most amazing reference letter!
Kudos to you, OP. |
| You could cook her dinner or take her out to eat as one last hurrah. |
|
Bless you, OP, for caring. I bet your children are amazing to.
I imagine your nanny would be thrilled to keep in touch and somehow still be part of your lives. |
| I would have loved to receive homemade cards from the kids or a framed pic of them. |

I recieved a photo book. MB wrote a personal message. Then the 7 year wrote what a personal message as well. The MB wrote down what the other 2 wanted to say. I loved as others mentioned homemade gifts.
One other thing you can do is set up a time when you will see the nanny again. Whether it is for fun or you go on a date night. I highly recommend a monthly get toether. |
