How much would you charge an hour for a full-time position for 5-month-old twins? |
$18-$20 |
what is 'full time'? 40 hours? 50? 60?
What else is required household-wise? On the books or off the books? How much vacation time is offered paid? How many sick days? Are federal holidays paid? |
This is what I do, except they are currently 6 months and I started when they were 10 weeks. I make $18.75/hr and work 45-50 hours a week. |
$26. You need to be skilled to do a good job with twin infants. |
PP's are just randomly throwing numbers around here!
Where are you located? How much experience do you have? Specific experience with infants? Twins? What is your educational background? |
Heck no.. I would say $15-$17 but we don't even have enough details from OP to really make an educated guess.. $20 is overpricing it for one child. |
PP - Actually read to fast and didn't notice it was twins but still need more details like experience, where you live, do you have any degrees in ECE, certificates?, etc. |
+1 |
$26? In your dreams. |
Yeah, that's pretty funny. |
Um no? I'm the PP saying I watch 6 month old twins and make $18.75/hr. Caring for twin infants is NOT an easy job. |
$18-20 is reasonable for infant twins full time. You could probably find someone for $16-17 but they may not have multiples experience. |
If you are in DC, OP, $18-$20/hr is good, depending on qualifications such as experience with multiples. |
I personally would charge $20-22, but I agree that $18-20 is very reasonable and will bring in strong candidates. |
