I caught my MB going through my personal bags (my purse and backpack). I'm floored to say the least. I would never have expected her to do this to me, as she says I am one of the best nannies she's ever had.
I asked her what she was doing and couldn't come up with anything. She was very surprised that I walked in on her (I was outside with her kids playing in the pool and had to come in to get them drinks). It's a complete breach of trust (and I've been with this family for over a year). I definitely need to find another position, but can't go without pay. I really don't want to stay in this house another minute. I'm just going to keep everything in the car (and locked) until I find something new, but this just got very awkward. |

| OP here, she told me that she heard my cell phone start ringing and that she wanted to bring it out to me. I keep my phone in the car and check it when I head home for the day. That's how I knew she was lying. |

honestly it wouldn't bother me if I found my boss looking through my purse or car as there isn't anything in there I worry about her finding.
I can understand you being annoyed but I would sit down with her and talk to her. Maybe she is just paranoid sometimes people do stupid stuff. |
