Tips for a 3 and 6 year old first time having a nanny instead of daycare

I am starting to work with a new family tomorrow , the kids are 3 and 6. The 6 year old will be in camp 9-1 pm everyday.

This is the first time the family has hired a nanny , the parents are newlyish divored (a year now) but both have interviewed and liked me.

Anyone have any tips on the transation from daycare to a nanny ? MB is worried the 3 year old is going to miss having friends around , i am going to take her to the park , story time and try and find other play groups to take the three year old to , any other ideas ? She will be in preschool 2 mornings a week in the fall so that will be a good way to make play dates with friends but as of now MB dosen't know many kids around here she is friends with that aren't in daycare.

Also any tips with working for a divorced parents , will be seeing the mom 4 times a week and the dad one night a week.
