| Has anyone on this site used a sitter from Urbansitter.com? I am interested in the service and it seems great (free interviews with sitters and the ability to pay with a credit card). Just looking for others with experience. Thank you! |

You pay nothing after unlimited interviews until you find someone you want? How does this work?

Urban sitter is just a board for you to find sitters on. It's up to you as parents to interview and hire as you wish. You pay them (the sitter themselves). The CC thing is just an option instead of cash, but not all sitters will take credit card/debit card payments.
It's the same thing as CL in how it works for a sitter. I find a potential family (whether occasional position or weekly etc) and meet up with them on my own terms, and decide if I want to work with them. I can have my previous employers leave reviews on the site for potential families to read (my previous families don't have to be members of the site). If I am available, I can have the site let me know through options I have selected about potential work, and I can "book" something through the site which basically just shows that I am now busy at that time. You can meet a family through them and never actually book stuff through the website if you don't want to. |
