I'm about to go and interview for a mother's helper position. What are good questions to ask during the interview? I've only ever done regular nanny positions and a lot of my usual questions wouldn't apply here. Also, any advice from those who have worked in this type of position would be great. It sounds like it will consist of childcare, running errands, pet care, laundry and house work. Thanks! |
This isn't a mothers helper position. They might be calling it that to lower the rate.
Errands: set days or as you have time? (Ie does dry cleaning have to be picked up every Tuesday?) Pet schedule: walks? Let out in backyard? I'd want housework expectations to be very detailed.dont want to be surprised by additional tasks |
Is your plan that we divide and conquer? Do you mainly want me taking care of the children or mainly want me taking care of the pets and house? Will this change by the day? |
