Dancing in the rain and a movie day!

| Rainy Monday here, and we are having a dance party in the rain followed by nice warm soup and a very rare movie day that the kiddos have been looking forward to for weeks! You should see the family room floor, pillows and blankets galore! We have very little screen time and when we do a movie, we make a theme week out of it! We are watching Madagascar followed by an African themed project. It's a fun Monday here!! Happy Monday everyone!! |

| I love the theme week idea. We also have movie days once in a while and it is a special event when we do. I think I will definitely take your idea of making a week out of it with crafts and maybe a fun snack that relate to the movie! I love getting ideas from other nannies! Have fun! |

| This is great to see. I am a MB and would love to hear that my nanny is making TV/Movie time more than just screen time by integrating projects and making it an educational experience. I have no problem with movie days with the nanny, but this makes it even better! Perfect for a rainy day for sure. |

| We are expecting rain toward the end of the week where we are, I think a movie day with a special snack and activity sounds like a great idea! We will set up the kids play tent in the living room, that is their favorite activity! |

| Sounds like so much fun! Wish MB allowed screen time for the kids because I would love to do this everyone once in a while! She only lets them watch cartoons on the weekends... |

My charges generally aren't allowed screen time with me, however I approached MB about rainy day special event movie days they could work up to and be excited about and she agreed. I make a big exciting day over it  I'm so glad MB agreed! It's still very rare, but a fun, cozy, rainy day activity that is something special between my charges and I
