Does it apply if you have a nanny? If you say no can you point me to your reference? Thanks so much!

Looks to me like it covers nannies up to 3 sick days per year. If you get no PTO, then it would apply, but if you already get at least 3 days of PTO that you could use if you got sick, then your employers are technically in compliance. They don't have to give you 3 additional days and call them "sick leave."

seems like the law is very reasonable. I also like that (unlike the NY version) it simply treats nanny employers like all other small employers rather than singling them out for different treatment.

If you are in DC, print out the link above and give it to your employers. This only applies to jobs in DC.
